About Us

Pamela Brott, LM, CPM
Midwife

I have 8 wonderful children and have gone through various birth experiences including 5 hospital births with 3 different providers, 2 planned unassisted homebirths and 1 planned homebirth under the care of a midwife. One of my births was a vaginal breech and was an amazing experience. I have also suffered loss through 2 early miscarriages. I have encountered many, many challenges with breastfeeding and have worked hard to triumph over them. My personal experiences in addition to my professional studies bring a unique perspective and type of support that is both personal and proficient.

Believing that each and every birth is unique and sacred to the family, it is my desire to see women author their birth stories with confidence and love. I consider it an honor to serve the women that come my way. And it is my hope that every woman's birth is more than satisfying, and that it makes her feel complete as a woman, as a companion, and as a mother.

I am a Midwife, Doula, Breastfeeding Counselor, Childbirth Educator, and Placenta Encapsulator. I would be more than happy to speak with you about your birth and my role in any of these capacities.

We believe that following in the tradition of apprenticeship as a path of learning is an important part of midwifery. We have had the privilege of working with a variety of midwives, doulas, students, assistants and other birth professionals at many stages along their journey. We appreciate the graciousness of our clients in allowing their birth to be a time of inspiration and encouragement to those striving to become proficient in their skills.
